HP company is tying up with the academic Institutions worldwide to close skills GAP
This has been news by HP Company who is going to provide $250,000 scholarship for women who are studying in IT security from HP Grants Funds. For that the company is going for academic partnership with Institutions worldwide.
From recent News at SAN FRANCISCO, CA, It has been announced for women who are studying Information Security (SWSIS) program; it will help those students to learn the IT Security Basics.
This new Scholarships effort will be the part of HP's academic initiative to enhance IT security and training program.

"The security industry has a pressing need for skilled security talent that can function fluidly in today's environment," said Art Gilliland, senior vice president and general manager, Enterprise Security Products, HP. "With the new scholarship program for women in information security, as well as the expansion of HP's academic program, HP will support security career growth and introduce new talent to the field."
What are SWSIS Program and SWSIS Scholarship?
SWSIS program has been developed by Applied Computer Security Associates (ACSA) which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cyber security. This program will be a joint step between HP, ACSA and CRA-W (Computer Research Association's Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research).
